Camera infrared thermometers are a hybrid of infrared thermometer and thermal imaging camera. They are used wherever the use of conventional non-contact infrared thermometers is too costly. Sometimes only one object with a small measuring range has to be examined and a high resolution of the thermal image is not absolutely necessary. The low-cost infrared thermometer with camera is the CEM DT-9862S*. It has only one digital camera to display the visible spectrum and no IR camera. For this purpose, it can measure a temperature of -50 ° C to 2200 ° C (-58° F to 3992° F).

It is ideal for users who need to work at very high temperatures and want to have a digital capture (visual) of the measurement object at the same time.
